Resolved Question: About Amtrak train on time performance?

How is the on-time performance with the amtrak train???..i will be travelling from Fremont,CA to Stockton,CA...then from stockton to bakersfield,CA...will i have to worry about waiting for hours at stockton to get on the next train?..i remember i took grey hound and had to wait 6 hours at the station for the next bus!!!...
